The Hiring Grants support companies in hiring and retaining local employees, emphasising diversity, inclusivity, and long-term employability while reducing hiring costs and enabling structured training.
Jobs Growth Incentive (JGI)➕
What it is: Wage subsidies for employers expanding local hiring, especially for mature workers and persons with disabilities (PWDs).
Funding: Up to 50% salary support for eligible workers for a specified duration.
Who benefits: Companies increasing local headcount or hiring older workers (40+) and PWDs.
Senior Employment Credit (SEC)➕
What it is: A wage offset to encourage hiring and retention of Singaporean workers aged 55+.
Funding: Quarterly payouts based on eligible senior employees’ wages.
Who benefits: Businesses seeking to retain experienced staff and preserve institutional knowledge.
WSG Career Conversion Programmes (CCP)➕
What it is: Reskilling support for mid-career switchers transitioning into new roles or industries.
Funding: Coverage for training costs and salary support during conversion.
Who benefits: Employers hiring talent without prior industry experience who need structured OJT.
